I went to visit the store/boss where I used to work and he asked me to join the house band that he uses to back people up at the open mic. I was surprised but very honored to be asked. Came out of the blue. Thanks, Buddy. ■ I’ve got an appointment at the post office tomorrow to apply for a passport. My old one expired in 2010. ■ Time for bed. ‘Night. ■
